Braden Miller is a Land Data Entry Clerk on the Land team in Dallas, supporting title work, data integrity, and lease-related research. He recently graduated from the University of Arkansas with a bachelor’s degree in criminology, where he also interned with the Terrorism Research Center. That experience strengthened his analytical and research skills—tools he now applies daily as he helps organize and maintain accurate land and title records.

Originally from Keller, Texas, Braden is known for his strong attention to detail and his ability to stay organized in fast-moving environments. He enjoys the process of digging into data, learning the nuances of the land side of the business, and being part of a team where every detail matters. His long-term goal is to work his way toward becoming a Landman and eventually support the negotiation and management of mineral leases.

Outside of work, Braden loves spending time outdoors—especially hiking, camping, and fishing. He’s passionate about continual growth and excited to build his career at Phoenix Energy by applying his skills and expanding his knowledge of the land profession.

Originally from Farmington, NM, Nick holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Financial and Marketing Management from the University of New Mexico. He began his career as a land intern with the Colorado State Land Board’s mineral division, later working as an Independent Landman for several industry-leading companies before joining Phoenix.

At Phoenix Energy, Nick focuses on due diligence for large acquisitions, negotiating mineral and lease purchases, and collaborating with the operating team on permitting, hearings, and division of interests. His favorite part of the role is the dynamic nature of land work and the opportunity to help move complex projects forward. With over a decade of experience in the oil and gas industry, Luke Ketter, our Land Manager in the Land department, brings a strong technical foundation and hands-on field knowledge to Phoenix. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering with a Geology minor from the University of Kansas. His early career included field engineering roles in cementing and hydraulic fracturing across Texas, New Mexico, Wyoming, North Dakota, and even Saudi Arabia.

Transitioning into land work, Luke has spent the last 4.5 years sharpening his skills in title research, project management, and mentoring the next generation of land professionals. His attention to detail and due diligence have been instrumental in executing several multi-million-dollar deals.

Originally from Wichita, Kansas, Luke is a proud husband and dog dad who enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, and continuing to learn.
